“Deer Angels” began its life as a colored pencil drawing with a bit of acrylic white for the stars and moon. A couple of years ago I started going over some of my pencil drawings with oils and this was the year for this drawing to change into an oil painting. The changes are fun to create and see and always seem to result in a painting with more depth and feeling.
