The deer are from a photo of a doe and her two fawns (you can only see one here) as they were grazing near our house in one of our meadows, or pastures, as the neighbors call them. The many lines and designs are mostly inspired by the wood grain. The wood panel always seems like it’s alive and co-creating with me.
