The dark line drawing for this painting is actually an intaglio print that I created while at the art school at the University of Michigan. I pasted it onto an 8 x 10 canvas using matte medium, then painted over it using colored pencil and acrylic white. Later I used a larger version of the line drawing to create the colorful painting called “Dragon Prism”.
